Norwex History

• In 1994 Norwex began "Clean without Chemicals" in Norway, soon after microfiber was first manufactured in Sweden.
• In 1995 Norwex entered the home party market in Norway and the business grew quickly.
• In the spring of 1999 Norwex expanded to Canada and the United States and experienced great success and growth.
• The business and product line expanded to include personal care without chemicals.
• In 2004 the company expanded into Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
• In May 2008 Norwex opened in Australia.
• In 2010, the Norwex sales force exceeded 20,000 consultants world wide.

What is Microfiber?

Microfiber is the perfect blend of polyester and polyamide. This fiber is 1/100th the size of a strand of human hair. When this high quality microfiber is combined with the right knitting process it creates an extremely effective cleaning material. This material can hold up to seven times its weight in water. Unlike many other types of cloths that smear dirt across the surface you are trying to clean, the microfiber cloths act like bionic sponges removing the dirt and bacteria to leave you with a clean, highly polished surface.

What are the benefits of cleaning with microfiber?

Microfiber cloths are environmentally friendly. They can reduce the consumption of cleaning chemicals in your home up to 90% while at the same time cutting down your exposure to toxic fumes. This can make a big difference for anyone with allergies and chemical sensitivities. In important areas of our home like bathrooms and kitchens, microfiber cloths may remove up to 99.9% of bacteria from surfaces, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment. Microfiber cloths are very durable. They are widely used in commercial cleaning environments and can withstand the rigors of everyday use.

What is antibacterial microfiber?

Our new Antibacterial Microfiber is the most innovative product in the industry! Norwex has developed a unique technology that combines an antibacterial silver-based agent with our microfiber. The antibacterial agent is actually embedded inside the tiny microfiber, so when the cloth is used to clean surfaces, it may remove up to 99.9% of bacteria on that surface, and destroy that bacteria after a few hours.

How are microfiber cloths used?

Microfiber cloths can be used wet or dry.

Dry: The static effect when using microfiber dry enhances the ability to attract dirt and dust particles. As you lightly wipe the surface, the microfiber attracts and draws up even the smallest particles of dust, trapping them in the fibers until the cloths are laundered.

Wet: The microfibers work together to give an excellent cleaning effect. Moisten with clean water and wipe away grease, chalk, impurities and bacteria from all washable surfaces. For spot removing, spray water on the surface being cleaned.

How to use the window cloth:

On less dirty surfaces, spray water on the surface and polish with the dry window cloth. For extra dirty surfaces, clean the surface with a wet enviro cloth first, then use the window cloth to dry and polish.

Caring for your microfiber products

To save the environment and reduce the use of detergents, we suggest that slightly dirty cloths and mops be washed with a little dish detergent under warm running water and used again before laundering.

Use our Rubber Brush to remove dirt and debris from the mops between launderings.

Launder microfiber cloths with other lint-free laundry.

Do not use bleach or fabric softener on microfiber. Bleach and fabric softeners destroy the product's ability to clean effectively.
